Bone tissue biology and immunology.
As part of my PhD, I’m interested in reports of inflammatory arthritis following exposure to infections, in particular the germ from the oral microbiota Porphyromonas gingivalis. I’m interested in the consequences of this bacteria on bone and joint tissues. I am also studying the macroscopic effect of immunization against Porphyromonas gingivalis on the joints.
