Academic interests

My academic interests, through my PhD topic, focus on computational modeling of cerebral fluid physiology, with particular emphasis on the role of intracranial pulsatility in small vessel disease. I investigate how pulsatile interactions between blood, cerebrospinal fluid, and vascular compliance influence brain tissue mechanics and contribute to microvascular dysfunction. In parallel, I maintain a strong interest in microgravity physiology as a unique framework to explore altered brain fluid-structure interactions and to build bridges between space physiology and terrestrial neurological research.

Teaching

As part of my PhD responsibilities, I supervise physics practical sessions, providing guidance on experimental setups, data analysis, and interpretation of results. I also supervise master’s projects in biomedical engineering, supporting students in their research methodology and project development.

Background

I hold an engineering degree from IMT Mines Alès and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Ecole des Mines de Saint-Étienne. I am currently pursuing a PhD at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne.
