Academic interests

I am currently a PhD student at Centre Ingénierie et Santé (CIS) of the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, in the Biomechanics department. My field concerns numerical simulations in the cardiovascular field. In particular, my thesis concerns computational simulations of the deployment of peripheral stent-grafts in renal arteries, with a focus on the effect of breathing and the complications that can arise after EndoVascular Aneurysm Repair operations. In addition, my thesis also focuses on fluid dynamics analyses in the renal arteries to highlight differences and possible complications that may occur after surgery.

Teaching

I currently teach approximately 60 hours per year at the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, distributed this year as follows:

– Supervision of 2 BMED Master’s students for the development of their Master’s project and theses;

-TP for ICM students in « Physical and mechanical modelling using finite elements » (« Modélisation physique et mécanique par éléments finis »).

Background

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, then Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Biomechanics and Biomedical Devices with a double degree from the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne.
