Academic interests

My research focuses on the determinants of clinical or biological characteristics involved in therapeutic failures (recurrences, hemorrhages, deaths) under anticoagulant treatment in the management of venous thromboembolic events associated with cancer. To address this issue, we are developing strategies that consider determinants of complications specific to inter-patient variability, inter-cancer variability, and inter-treatment variability in the care of cancer patients. I propose solutions based on 1/prediction risk models using epidemiological data, 2/pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies in specific at-risk populations for failure, and finally, 3/biological data that opens up translational research.
