Working on the design of 4D-printed membrane intended as bone fixation devices, under the supervision of Pr. David Eglin.

The aims is to develop by FDM printing process a polymeric membrane intended to reinforced a resin composite based bone fixation. Additionally to reinforce a resin composite, the membrane is design to have shape-grasping arm at the edge, which after thermal stimuli grip the bone during surgical procedure.
