During my PhD, I worked with multiscale and multiphysics modelling of arterial growth and remodelling. My research topic involved computational biomechanics (finite elements simulations coupled with agent-based modelling) and in-vitro biomechanics (Cells under Shear Stress).
I am currently working on the modelling of lymphatic and venous drainage in the lower leg. More precisely, I am studying the effects of compression stockings on the interstitial fluid dynamics in the leg.
During my PhD, I had the opportunity to teach the “Multiphysics modelling and simulation” class in the Master ‘Smart Mechanics’ at the Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté.
In 2015, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Engineering along with a Master’s degree in Biomechanics and BioEngineering from the University of technology of Compiègne. In 2017, I obtained a Master’s degree in Medical Physics and Life Imaging from the Faculty of science, Lebanese University, with an internship at the University of technology of Troyes. In 2018 I started my PhD at the Institut de Recherche et de Sécurité (INRS) and the Université de Bourgogne Franche Comté (UBFC) and defended it in 2022. I am currently working as a post-doc at Mines Saint-Etienne
