Academic interests

My training as a biotechnology engineer gave me in-depth knowledge of molecular biology and cell culture, which I consolidated and developed during my time as a research engineer in private companies of all sizes (from start-ups to multinationals).

Molecular biology sector referent I manage various techniques such as nucleic acid analysis using an automated electrophoresis station to make data more reliable and improve reproducibility. I design the Q-PCR tools needed for various research projects.

I produce plasmid vectors and I transfect cell lines and stem cells in order to analyse the expression of genes fused to fluorophores using confocal video microscopy.

I work in close collaboration with all the project leaders to whom I contribute with my expertise:

– Development of a TALEN mouse model

– Creation of cell lines genetically modified by CRISPR-Cas9

– Participation in international space projects based on the differentiation of human stem cells in space

– Development of a cell sorting methodology followed by genomic analysis to study gene expression in a specific cell population
