Academic interests

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and continued my studies with a master’s degree in health engineering, specializing in cell and tissue engineering.

Currently a doctoral student in SIS 488, my field is “neuroscience” combined with “gerontology“. Indeed, the concept of “ageing well” is gaining in importance, and I’m totally committed to it part. My project fits in perfectly with this concept: “Prevention for good health” is the title of my public lectures. On a scientific terms, my aim is to understand the cellular-molecular mechanisms that  that revolve around sleep apnea syndrome, through the search for blood biomarkers: exosomes, which could help prevent the syndrome as well as the neurocognitive risks of untreated sleep apnea. Biomarkers could also be used as diagnostic tools for the syndrome and future cognitive disorders.

Teaching

Since 2021, I’ve been working as a part-time teacher at Jean Monnet University’s Faculty of Medicine, teaching hours in the SPS degree program.

In addition to my professional project, I try to get involved as soon as possible to help people discover and share my passion. I helped organize the “pint of science Saint Etienne”, and had the opportunity to speak at the medical school’s open days, to meet future students.
